In ELSEWHERE, master storyteller Dean Koontz, has created a brilliant and terrifying speculative thriller with hat-tips to George Orwell, Ray Bradbury and HG Wells. Who would like this? For Dean Koontz fans this is a no brainer you will read it anyway. That blend of bleak and hope is why I love Koontz’s writing we all need to know that things will be OK even while we are enjoying being scared by the possibility that they might not be. Likewise not all worlds are bad and regardless of what happens on Earth Prime the reader knows that somewhere in some world they all live happily ever after. Many Worlds allows Koontz to explore several areas of horror as not all worlds are good. The story grips you and doesn’t let go until the last exhausting page is read. The book starts as it means to continue, full throttle, no sooner has Ed accepted the box with a solemn promise never to open it, the bad guys turn up, the box is opened and chaos ensues. My Thoughts: Those of you who know me will know that theoretical physics is totally my thing and I am not adverse to a little horror thrown in with my reading, so Dean Koontz exploring the Many Worlds theory? Hell yeah. Unless Amity and Jeffy can outwit him, the place they call home may never be safe again. Dean Koontz (Goodreads Author) ASIN: 0008291284 Edition language: English Average rating.
